Kleenheat Spark 2025

In 2025, Kleenheat launched Kleenheat Spark - a new online solar and battery marketplace designed to make home electrification simple and accessible for Perth households.

Developing the Kleenheat Spark brand from the ground up was one of the most rewarding projects of my time at Kleenheat. Working alongside the venture lead, the broader working group, and digital agency Juicebox, my team and I were responsible for naming, brand identity, positioning, and all core messaging.

The naming process involved a series of workshops and consumer research. We landed on Kleenheat Spark, a sub-brand that leverages Kleenheat's existing equity and scored highly in recall during testing. From there, we developed the logo, evolved the Kleenheat brand for a digital-first environment, and defined the positioning that would underpin everything.

Crafting the messaging was a real labour of love. Starting from a blank page, we built everything the website and communications needed - immersing ourselves in a new category and translating complex technical and product information into clear, customer-friendly language.

Kleenheat Spark launched in December 2025, with a rollout plan spanning owned channels, paid search, paid social, and PR, all delivered by drawing on discipline experts across the Kleenheat marketing team.

It was a significant team effort, and one I'm proud of. The platform puts a genuinely useful tool in the hands of Perth households looking to make the switch to solar, and that real-world impact made it all the more satisfying to deliver.
