Kleenheat brand repositioning 2025 / 2026

While heading up the brand and campaign team at Kleenheat, one of my biggest projects was repositioning the brand from a gas company to an energy provider — to better position Kleenheat for what's next, including the launch of its new solar and battery marketplace, Kleenheat Spark.

Across 2025, I led a thorough review of research and business data, exploring what consumers want from their energy provider and mapping that against the distinctive benefits Kleenheat offers.

Through months of focus groups, workshops, and strategic thinking - and with invaluable input from The Brand Agency, YouGov, and CoreData - we landed on a new brand platform: Too Easy. The insight was straightforward but powerful: customers have busy lives and want their energy to just work. Kleenheat delivers on being easy through its award-winning local customer service team and a standout digital experience, with Kleenheat Spark making solar and battery quoting and installation far more accessible than it's ever been.

Alongside defining the positioning, I extended Kleenheat's set of codified brand assets and worked closely with the team at The Brand Agency to develop the campaign concept and three TVCs that went into production.

I moved on before the campaign rolled out, so a genuine shoutout to the Kleenheat team and everyone at The Brand Agency, Supaflr, and the broader production crew who brought it to life. It was a privilege to start something that such talented people carried across the line.
