Containers for Change Brand campaign & activations 2020 / 2021
My first job back in Perth after almost 10 years in London, and also a year of maternity leave, was a short-term contract with WA Return, Renew, Recycle - the not-for-profit appointed to run WA’s container exchange programme, Containers for Change.
It was a huge eight months, developing an incredible new brand platform, called Don’t Feed the Fill - looking to make behaviour change by making consumers feel slightly uncomfortable about their recycling behaviours. Every container deserves a new life, and Containers for Change has done an exceptional job in onboarding West Aussies to the programme across the State.
The Brand Agency did a phenomenal job across strategy, concepting and delivery. Again, this campaign also felt like a bold move - but the right one to make an impact on consumers behaviours.
At my time at Containers for Change, I also led the delivery of C4C’s partnership with Fremantle Football Club in stadium and across owned channels, created a bespoke wall outside AQWA to educate families about recycling, led the development and delivery of C4C’s Royal Show activation and more. It was an epic but incredibly rich exp[erience working with the team and our wonderful partners at The Brand Agency.
